I have a natural ability for organizing and clarifying. Drawing on my professional experience, academic training and core values, I bring a track record of helping groups create plans, achieve goals and improve lives. My passion is to use solid business skills to promote positive social impact in under-resourced communities throughout the world.
My career spans both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. For more than 20 years I worked in financial services and information technology industries, primarily as a business analyst and consultant for top-tier financial institutions. I have also worked with community organizations, facilitating leadership sessions with local businesses, leading strategic planning with overseas NGOs, and writing business plans for grassroots nonprofits. These wide-ranging professional experiences have equipped me to apply sound business principles in a variety of environments to create viable businesses and sustainable nonprofits.
"Think globally, act locally" is an important core value in my life and career. I am energized by engaging in work that contributes to the interconnection and well-being of all the world's peoples on both the macro and micro levels.
My academic background includes an MBA in International Economic Development and an MA in Theology. I am a member of the Board of Trustees of Friends of Sabeel-North America and an adjunct faculty member at Villanova University's Center for Peace and Justice Education.
